MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko missed a game of his ice hockey team against a Mogilev Oblast team due to a trauma he had suffered just recently, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel Pul Pervogo.
The Telegram channel published a video of the president explaining how he had suffered the injury during his working trip to the car factory BelGee in Borisov District on 19 January.
“I was chopping up firewood. A stump weighing about 80kg dropped on my foot. I kept walking and it looked fine but later on…” Aleksandr Lukashenko said in the published video.
