KLIMOVICHI, 16 November (BelTA) – Labor unity is a guarantee of independence for Belarusians, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a solemn ceremony to honor agricultural workers at the Dazhynki harvest festival in the town of Klimovichi, Mogilev Oblast, on 16 November, BelTA has learned.
“Ten years since our last meeting have passed very fast. I have come to Klimovichi and I feel like home. Though I have come here from home. The most important thing that the Lord has gifted us with is wisdom. Wisdom has always helped us make the right decisions: how to live, who to entrust with the burden of power, what legacy to pass to our children and grandchildren,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
The president went on saying that labor unity ensures independence for Belarusians. “We work and earn money. Within a short historical period of time, our country has become an independent and self-sufficient state. And this has saved us more than once,” noted Aleksandr Lukashenko.
