MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on the enthronement anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You are a spiritual leader for millions of Orthodox believers across different countries. Through your archpastoral ministry and prayer, you help people strengthen their faith and confessional unity,” the message of congratulations reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that Patriarch Kirill’s tireless labors will continue to contribute to the noble cause of strengthening good-neighborly relations between the two brotherly nations. “Today, in an era of global challenges and severe upheavals, the genuine unity of Belarusians and Russians takes on special significance, becoming a reliable stronghold,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
The president wished Patriarch Kirill spiritual and physical strength in the name of his unceasing service to the Church of Christ.
