TIANJIN, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his belief that it was possible to adopt China's experience in the state’s political system as he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tianjin on 31 August, BelTA has learned.
“Personally, I have come to the conclusion that we should adopt something from you in the political structure of the state. Once, the Soviet Union and China built a model together that you have not lost, which operates in the organization and leadership of the People's Republic of China. Unfortunately, we have lost much. Today, anyone who thinks seriously about this understands that we have lost a lot,” the Belarusian leader said.
“I congratulate you on wisely and carefully guiding your country towards the goal you have set, without revolutions or upheavals,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
