VOLOZHIN, 19 October (BelTA) – Improving the quality of domestic products will be a priority for Belarus in 2025, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the regional stage of the Dazhynki harvest festival in Volozhin on 19 October, BelTA has learned.
“Regardless of whether it is a state-owned or private enterprise, quality should be above all. This was the purpose of declaring 2024 the Year of Quality. But we somehow relaxed and did not do everything we were supposed to. In 2025, quality will be a priority. This is the key to our economic growth and better reputation in world markets,” the head of state said.
The president called on everyone to perform to the best of their ability at work. This will produce better outcomes, the head of state remarked.
“In this case we will always be able to raise salaries and pension benefits, build housing, roads and social facilities. Look, a lot has already been done in healthcare, education, housing and utilities, culture, sports. Minsk Oblast, for example, became the first region where almost every district has its own swimming pool,” noted Aleksandr Lukashenko.
