
MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved two draft international treaties concerning the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to serve as the basis for conducting negotiations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state signed corresponding decrees No.318 and No.319 on 28 August.
In particular, the draft agreement between the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the SCO Anti-Drug Centre has been approved.
The president also approved the draft agreement on the Universal Centre for Countering Challenges and Threats to the Security of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
