
MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved new appointments in a number of ministries on 30 June, BelTA learned.
Vladimir Naumovich, who previously served as Deputy Economy Minister, was appointed as First Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister.
Maksim Lysenko, who previously held the post of Chairman of the Dzerzhinsk District Executive Committee, was appointed First Deputy Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Minister. Vladimir Dolzhenkov has been appointed Deputy Education Minister (in charge of administrative and economic affairs). Previously, he headed the Budget and Finance Department of the State Border Committee.
Yulia Shapkina has been named Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization. Until now, she worked as a head of the Department for Coordination of Sectoral Informatization Projects at the Communications and Informatization Ministry. Oleg Tokun was agreed to the post of Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection. Before the new appointment he worked as a deputy head of the Department of Social Policy and Information Support of the Standing Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State.
Sergei Kachan, who served as Head of the Main State Treasury of the Finance Ministry, was promoted. The president approved his appointment as Deputy Finance Minister. Irina Stepuro has been named Deputy Justice Minister. She previously held the position of First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate - Head of the Department of Legislation in Economy and Environmental Protection at the Main State Legal Directorate of the President’s Administration.
