MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) – Retirement pensions will be recalculated and increased by an average of 5% starting 1 September, as stipulated by a decree signed by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA learned from the head of state’s press service.
Approximately Br2.2 billion will be allocated for pension payments in September this year, including Br107 million in additional expenditures required by the pension increase under the decree.
