Lukashenko appoints Belarusian diplomats to Ethiopia, Montenegro, China, Kazakhstan

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Belarusian diplomats to Ethiopia and Montenegro, BelTA has learned.

Dmitry Krasovsky has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. At present he is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya with concurrent accreditation to Uganda as well as Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the African Union, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat).

Sergei Malinovsky has been appointed non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Montenegro. He is now Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Serbia with concurrent accreditation to North Macedonia.

Apart from that, the head of state authorized the appointment of two consuls general of Belarus.

Aleksandr Shevchenko will work as Belarus’ Consul General in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China. Belarus’ Consul General in Almaty, Kazakhstan will be Denis Meleshkin.
