MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said he is willing to give an interview to the U.S. TV station CNN whose representative was present at the big press conference in Minsk on 9 August, BelTA has learned.
"I am not ruling it out. Yet I have one condition: no editing,” the head of state said. "These are my terms. You can negotiate all the rest with my press secretary." he added.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also invited CNN journalists, who recently released a fake story about a camp for political prisoners near Minsk, to visit the area and see the place for what it is. This is an ordinary military unit, which American journalists made into a place of imprisonment for some reason. The fake was debunked by the Belarusian TV channels.
