SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 24 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko went to Smolevichi District, Minsk Oblast to oversee the progress in the harvest campaign, BelTA learned.
The head of state is visiting the Ozeritsky-Agro agricultural enterprise. Here he will be briefed about the progress of the harvesting campaign on the farm and the region and the country as a whole. The emphasis is on current conditions and the use of domestic agricultural machinery.

Ozeritsky-Agro" is a diversified agricultural enterprise. Its primary focus is livestock farming and crop production. The company cultivates grain crops, rapeseed, potatoes, and greenhouse vegetables. Agritourism serves as a complementary line of business.
Last week, on 18 July, Aleksandr Lukashenko held a conference call on the 2025 harvesting campaign. The weather has not been very good for farmers this season. Nevertheless, the government forecasts a very good grain harvest of 10.7 million tonnes, or 300,000 tonnes higher than last year. Most of this potential harvest is still in the fields and must be removed in the optimal time possible, without losses. This was what the head of state urged farmers to do during the conference call.
“The government has done its best for the harvesting campaign to be a success. Therefore, we expect the best performance from everyone: from a manager to a tractor driver,” the Belarusian leader stressed. “The plan we have set is very strict. This year's oversight will be principled, but without offending people,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
