MINSK, 28 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ initiatives at the United Nations are achieving significant progress, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov told reporters, according to a BelTA correspondent.
“Our engagement at the UN remains vigorous. As the world’s sole universal platform uniting all states, it offers unique opportunities for dialogue – enabling us to convene meetings, conduct negotiations, and address both UN-specific and broader global priorities and that’s what we are already doing,” the diplomat stated.

In recent years, Belarus has proposed several initiatives within the UN framework. These include efforts to combat human trafficking, address Chernobyl-related challenges, promote traditional family values, and counter illegal restrictive measures.
