MOSCOW, 5 February (BelTA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent the treaty between Belarus and the Russian Federation on security guarantees for ratification. The executive order has been published on the Russian official portal of legal information, BelTA learned.
"Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko shall act as the official representative of the President of the Russian Federation as the two houses of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation consider the ratification of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on Security Guarantees within the Union State signed in Minsk on 6 December 2024," the executive order reads.
