Potential for higher Belarus-Israel cooperation noted

MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Belarus Alex Goldman Shayman in view of the end of his diplomatic mission in Belarus, the ministry's press service told BelTA.

Vladimir Makei thanked Alex Goldman Shayman for a constructive contribution to the development of Belarusian-Israeli relations. The sides also summed up results of bilateral cooperation and mentioned positive dynamics of Belarus-Israel interaction as well as an increase in mutual trade in the last few years.

Vladimir Makei and Alex Goldman Shayman agreed that there is a substantial potential for stepping up Belarus-Israel cooperation. Mutual interest in preserving positive dynamics in Belarus-Israel interaction was expressed.
