MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) - The Polish government has extended the buffer zone along the border with Belarus, initially introduced in June 2024, for another 90 days, the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration said on its official account on X.
“The decision by the Minister of the Interior and Administration extends the temporary ban on staying in the buffer zone along the Polish-Belarusian border for another 90 days. The resolution was published in the Journal of Laws on 3 December and enters into force on Friday, 5 December 2025,” the statement reads.
Poland introduced a buffer zone on the border with Belarus in June 2024, initially for a period of 90 days. Since then, its enforcement has been extended multiple times.
