
MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) - Tajikistan is committed to strengthening cooperation with Belarus across all areas, both on the bilateral trade and in multilateral forums, Tajikistan Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda said during a meeting between the Belarusian president and the heads of government delegations participating in the sessions of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the CIS Heads of Government Council in Minsk on 30 September, BelTA has learned.
“Tajikistan has always placed special importance on the close ties of friendship and benevolent relations with Belarus. We are firmly committed to expanding and strengthening our cooperation across all areas, both on the bilateral trade and in multilateral forums. The governments of our countries actively cooperate within the framework of intergovernmental commissions and councils,” Kokhir Rasulzoda said.

The prime minister of Tajikistan, speaking about international and regional associations such as the CIS (where Tajikistan holds the chairmanship this year), the CSTO, and the SCO, noted that the positions of Minsk and Dushanbe largely coincide and are mutually supported.“In the wonderful hero city of Minsk, we held another meeting of the CIS heads of government, attended INNOPROM. Belarus industrial expo and got familiar with the grand achievements of the Belarusian industrial and innovation sector. I want to say, Aleksandr Grigoryevich, that tremendous work has been carried out by you and the government of Belarus," Kokhir Rasulzoda said addressing the Belarusian leader.
