MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) - Accelerating the negotiation process on Ukraine depends on many factors, spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov told the Vremya Pervogo [Time of the First] project on the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
Dmitry Peskov was asked on whom and what depends the acceleration of the negotiation process on Ukraine. The Russian president’s spokesman said that a lot depends on the position of the Kiev regime. In addition, Washington’s mediation efforts play a significant role in this.
“Russia's position is well known. Apart from that, there is a general state of affairs that must be taken into account. All of these elements form the overall picture. It is complex, difficult,” said Dmitry Peskov.
No meetings are scheduled for the near future, the Russian president’s spokesman said. The parties are waiting for the third round of negotiations.
