MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) - European leaders have been invited to participate in a meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday, New York Times reports citing unnamed officials, RIA Novosti informs.

On Saturday, Vladimir Zelensky confirmed his post-summit phone conversation with Donald Trump and EU leaders following the Russia-USA talks, as well as his planned 18 August visit to the USA to meet with the U.S. president. “Trump will discuss this [conflict settlement] plan with Zelenskyy on Monday at the White House, and European leaders have been invited to attend the meeting,” the report states.

On 15 August Putin and Trump held a meeting at Alaska's Elmendorf-Richardson military base. The three-hour discussions included multiple formats: a one-on-one conversation in the U.S. leader's limousine en route to the main venue, followed by restricted “three-on-three” talks. The Russian delegation included Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, while the U.S. side was represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
