MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – In a comment with the Russian news agency TASS the Belarus president’s Press Secretary Natalya Eismont explained in what manner Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and President of the United States of America Donald Trump discussed the release of prisoners during a phone call on 15 August, BelTA has learned.
Natalya Eismont explained: “As for the prisoners. The conversation was limited to the U.S. president thanking the Belarusian head of state for the decisions made with regard to 16 people. In response our president said that we don’t stop, we have been working in this direction, and continue working.”
