MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – The CIS Plenipotentiaries Council, chaired by Turkmenistan, will meet in Minsk on 29 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The main item on the meeting’s agenda will be the presentation of the concept for Turkmenistan’s presidency in the CIS in 2026 and the action plan for its implementation.
The meeting is also scheduled to review the CIS plenipotentiaries’ work plan for the current year, the draft agenda for the upcoming meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council, and matters concerning the implementation of the CIS Statistics Development project.
CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev is expected to attend the meeting.
