
FUZULI, 6 May (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin has completed the official visit to Azerbaijan, BelTA learned.




Aleksandr Turchin visited a number of facilities in Baku, including a store selling Belarusian food products of the Belaruski retail network, a joint assembly plant of elevators at Vertus Engineering Co. and a unit of the Emergencies Ministry.



The prime minister visited Aghdam Industrial Park and donated a MAZ-5907C2-012 utility vehicle to the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service operating in the liberated districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend.
During the visit, Aleksandr Turchin met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and also held one-on-one and extended talks with Prime Minister Ali Asadov. The parties signed five documents. The program of the visit also included a Belarusian-Azerbaijani business forum, which resulted in the signing of contracts worth almost $19 million.

The head of government laid wreaths at the tomb of national leader Heydar Aliyev, November 8 Victory Monument and flowers at the tomb of Zarifa Aliyeva.

Together with Prime Minister Ali Asadov, he toured the destroyed and reconstructed facilities in Fuzuli and the future agro-town near Gizil Kangarli village.
