MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - Sergei Rachkov, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives and Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, will participate in the 23rd Autumn Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Istanbul, Türkiye on 17-19 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The session will include a meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Standing Committee and a parliamentary conference on the theme “The OSCE at 50: Revitalizing Multilateralism through Dialogue and Cooperation”. The event will be dedicated to discussing issues such as strengthening political dialogue and trust, global trade, interconnectivity and sustainable growth, respect for human rights, and support for family values.
Speeches at the thematic sessions of the parliamentary conference are planned, along with a number of meetings with parliamentarians from OSCE participating states.
