MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Brazil with concurrent accreditation to Paraguay Andrei Andreyev has presented his credentials to President Santiago Peña Palacios of the Republic of Paraguay, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized their interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly in strengthening trade and economic ties.
In addition, the Belarusian diplomat held meetings with Paraguay’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Javier Viveros, President of the Paraguayan Industrial Union Enrique Duarte, and President of the Paraguayan Grain and Oilseed Traders Association José Berea.
The ambassador met with representatives of Paraguay’s industrial sector. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in mechanical engineering and electric power, taking into account Belarus’ extensive expertise and experience in these areas.
