Belarus, Zimbabwe sign roadmap of strategic cooperation and partnership through 2030

MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) - Belarus and Zimbabwe have signed a roadmap of strategic cooperation and partnership for 2026-2030, BelTA has learned.
The ceremony of exchanging the texts of the international document took place after the talks between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe in Minsk on 14 May.

“A package of bilateral documents has been signed. It is based on the roadmap for 2026-2030, which takes into account all the key joint projects in various areas,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said after the talks.

According to the head of state, the parties held fruitful negotiations. “We discussed a wide range of issues, took stock of the progress made in the implementation of the reached agreements (including during the visit to Zimbabwe two years ago). We identified new joint projects. At the same time, we paid special attention to the development of promising areas, including interregional interaction and industrial cooperation,” the president said.
