Belarus, Türkiye amend visa waiver agreement

MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – A protocol on amendments to the visa waiver agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye as of 29 March 2013 was signed in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

Following the completion of ratification procedures and the protocol’s entry into force, drivers and crew members of freight vehicles, buses, civil aviation aircraft and sea vessels performing international transportation of goods and passengers will be allowed to stay in Belarus and Türkiye without visas for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

The protocol was signed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Yevgeny Shestakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Belarus Güçlü Cem Işık.
