Belarus, Thailand intend to bolster cooperation 

 MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) -  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and concurrently to the Kingdom of Thailand Vladimir Borovikov met with Thailand Trade Representative (at the rank of Minister) Nalinee Taveesin in Bangkok o 28 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding the cooperation in trade and economy, the possibility of increasing trade between the two countries and its diversification.

On the same day, the Belarusian ambassador met with Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director General of the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The parties discussed the state and prospects of political and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, of mutual support in international organizations. The plans for the development of the bilateral legal framework with an emphasis on trade and economy and the liberalization of visa procedures were outlined. 

Upon the invitation of His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn, Belarus’ representative took part in the Royal Barge Procession on the Chao Phraya in honor of the 72nd anniversary of the Monarch.
