MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich met with the leadership of Afghanistan’s National Development Corporation on 16 February, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sergei Lukashevich welcomed in Minsk the arrival of the delegation from the National Development Corporation of Afghanistan, which is the leading Afghan state company in infrastructure and construction. During the talks, the parties noted significant prospects for increasing supplies to Afghanistan of Belarusian machinery, agricultural and other products needed for the implementation of major development projects in the country.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify contacts in the areas of industry, agriculture and food, healthcare, and education.
