MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held a meeting with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Yerlan Baizhanov on 6 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties confirmed the high level of friendly relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as mutual interest in further development of dialogue in various sectors. They also stated the focus on ensuring positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation.
The parties praised effective interaction within the multilateral organizations, including the EAEU, the CIS, and also the CSTO and the SCO, where Kazakhstan is presiding.
The minister thanked the ambassador for his personal contribution to strengthening Belarus-Kazakhstan relations, efforts to intensify political contacts and expand trade and economic ties.
