MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – On 23 January, Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva Larisa Belskaya met with Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction Kamal Kishore, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The special representative received an invitation to visit Belarus and take part in the events marking the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
The parties discussed a number of issues regarding bilateral cooperation and outlined plans for further interaction.
