
MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) - The Belarusian embassy has issued recommendations to Belarusians currently in Nepal in connection with the ongoing unrest in the country, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“In connection with the mass unrest in Nepal, the Belarusian embassy in India with concurrent accreditation in Nepal recommends that Belarusian citizens in Nepal follow the instructions of the local authorities, including those related to the declared curfew,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Furthermore, it is recommended to visit the capital, Kathmandu, only in case of extreme necessity and to avoid locations where protest actions are taking place.
