ORYOL, 11 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ cooperation with Russia’s Oryol Oblast can be an example for other regions of Russia in many ways, Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik said as he met with Oryol Oblast Governor Andrei Klychkov on 11 February, BelTA has learned.
“Today our trade is growing at a pace that any Russian region can envy,” said Aleksandr Rogozhnik.

“In no other region our trade went up by 30%, and Belarusian exports rose by more than 45% last year. The trade covered all economic sectors, from manufacturing to agriculture,” the ambassador specified.
“You visited Belarus three times last year. This can be the reason why we have such results. I sincerely appreciate your efforts to promote bilateral cooperation,” the ambassador said addressing the Oryol Oblast governor.
