MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) - On 19 November, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Cuba and concurrently to the Dominican Republic Vitaly Borchuk presented his credentials to President of the Dominican Republic Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing cooperation, including the upcoming 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.
During the talks, the parties also addressed opportunities to expand trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, intensify work to improve the legal and contractual framework, and confirmed readiness to strengthen political relations and mutual support in the international arena.
