MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) – Belarus' parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko will take part in a meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) in Dushanbe on 1 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The agenda of the CSTO PA Council meeting includes matters regarding the priorities of Tajikistan's presidency in the CSTO, harmonization of national legislation of the CSTO member states, and interaction between national delegations of the CSTO member states in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
The council will also analyze the military and political situation in the CSTO's responsibility area and take stock of the performance of the CSTO PA observation missions at the elections in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in 2021.
The CSTO PA Council is set to adopt a statement on the unacceptability of foreign interference in elections in the CSTO member states.
