An evening in memory of Vladimir Mulyavin titled as The Heart Prayed and the Voice Prayed took place at the National Library of Belarus on 21 January to mark the songwriter’s 85th birthday. Visitors got an opportunity to view documents displayed at a book-illustrative exhibition from the National Library’s collections: posters, sheet music, books, an anthology of the creative legacy of Vladimir Mulyavin and the ensemble Pesniary. A unique exhibition by Belarusian photo artist Mikhail Maruga was also presented. Famous songs from the repertoire of the Pesniary ensemble were performed at the event.
