On 29 January, the Izumrud health and fitness center was reopened in Novopolotsk after a major renovation. The multifunctional center includes a 25-meter swimming pool with six lanes, a sports hall for team sports, a small fitness hall, a sauna, and outdoor courts. It was originally built in 1969 to mark the tenth anniversary of the city's founding, with the first reconstruction taking place in the early 2000s. The major renovation of Izumrud began in December 2024.
