The Belarusian language distinguishes us from other nations, so it is our duty to preserve it, Chairwoman of the Belarusian Union of Journalists Olga Shpilevskaya told the media during an official event to celebrate International Mother Language Day at the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater on 21 February.
