Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich met with Vologda Oblast Governor Georgy Filimonov in Minsk on 25 August. Viktor Karankevich remarked that the governments of Belarus and Vologda Oblast will sign a cooperation development program for 2026-2028. In his view, it should serve as a practical guiding framework for the further advancement of mutually beneficial cooperation.
