The 2024 edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is running in Parco Dora in the Italian city of Turin. It has brought together thousands of food producers, cooks, and representatives of Indigenous Peoples, migrants, and young activists from around the world, ready to share their experiences and solutions for the food system. The festival highlights the key principle of the Slow Food movement: “good, clean and fair food for everyone”.
Representatives of the Belarusian Slow Food community are taking part in the large-scale event. The head of the Belarusian Slow Food community, Anton Kalenik, said that they will present draniki (potato pancakes) and syrniki made from Belarusian cottage cheese.
