The Peshchanaya Dyuna [Sandy Dune] Beach Sports Center was inaugurated on the grounds of the Olimpiyski Sports and Recreation Complex in Minsk on 20 January.The construction of the facility lasted 18 months. The center features versatile transformations of the playing field, enabled by vertical hall partition systems and safety sleeves with crosses installed in the sand for mounting sports equipment. The playing field is filled with PKF 0.8 quartz sand produced by the Gomel Mining and Processing Plant branch of Gomelsteklo, equipped with an under-floor heating system.
