MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) - During the State Quality Mark awards ceremony Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that he sends gift baskets of bread and salo as snacks to HC Dinamo Minsk and now he said he is planning to treat them to condensed milk, BelTA has learned.
The head of state presented the State Quality Mark to the Rogachev Milk Canning Plant for their Yegorka condensed milk. “Such delicious products. Today this is probably the first time that I've tasted this one, with the quality mark. But you can't eat too much of it. People love it, especially children. Congratulations to you. Thank you very much,” the Belarusian leader praised the product.
The conversation turned to a healthy lifestyle and the fact that the young team at the enterprise, while working with such tasty products, combines their work with sports. “That's right. It's important for athletes. Here's what I'm thinking: HC Dinamo Minsk will come... They've done great on the road. They won in both Moscow and St. Petersburg. Well, as for Lokomotiv... I'm looking forward to what will happen tomorrow [the upcoming game against HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl]. Sometimes I send them [HC Dinamo Minsk] gift baskets of salo. I'll buy a crate, ask them to prepare it, like in the old days in a village. A crate of black bread, the one made in Vitebsk. And I send it to them these gift baskets in this simple, rural, Belarusian way. And today, reading all this, I thought: we should order them some condensed milk from Rogachev. If they deserve it, we'll gift it to them,” the president said.
