
ASTANA, 3 March (BelTA - Kazinform) - A snow leopard, listed as
endangered, has been captured on camera once again in the Altyn-Emel
National Park, Kazinform News Agency cites the Forestry and Wildlife
Committee of the Ministry of Ecology.
As part of research, staff from the Science, Information, and Monitoring Department of the Altyn-Emel National Park set up camera traps in key watering areas. The cameras captured rare footage of the snow leopard, which is included in Kazakhstan's Red Book.
