GOMEL, 30 November (BelTA) – A military history reenactment dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and Gomel’s liberation from the Nazi invaders took place in the WW2 memorial complex Partisan Wellspring in Gomel on 29 November.
Tragic episodes of fighting to liberate the city of Gomel were reenacted using authentic uniforms, weapons, and vehicles dating back to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Members of military history clubs from Belarus and Russia helped create the special atmosphere of the event by recreating episodes of the battles with utmost historical precision.
