
MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – About 7,000 participants and visitors from 22 countries have been registered for the Innoprom Belarus expo, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov at a press conference.
During the expo Belarus will be represented by 70 stands, including collective expositions featuring products of nearly 200 Belarusian enterprises. A total of about 500 organizations will showcase their products and the latest goods. Taking part in the exposition will be enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry, the Energy Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Academy of Sciences, the State Committee on Science and Technology, the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom, companies residing in technology parks, in free economic zones, private companies. The Belarusian exposition occupies a total of 6,000m2 indoors and about 3,000m2 outdoors.
“Mechanical engineering, industrial and IT technologies, metallurgy and materials, manufacturing automation, chemical industry, manufacturing sector services will be presented. As of today about 7,000 participants and visitors from 22 countries across the globe have been registered. We expect a truly large number of guests and visitors at the expo,” Mikhail Myatlikov stressed. He added that these are not the final figures yet. A total of 10,000 participants and visitors are expected to turn up.

Applications have already been submitted for signing about 20 contracts on the sidelines of the expo. As many as 250 reporters from various countries have been accredited.
Minsk is getting ready to welcome large delegations. Visitors will be offered several itineraries. Catering will be organized in the expo center, including food trucks outside. Souvenirs will be on sale.
