MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian potash producer Belaruskali has restored its positions in the markets of friendly countries and other markets, Director General of Belaruskali Andrei Rybakov told he media after his appointment to this position, BelTA has learned.
"I can say with confidence that we have restored our positions in the markets of friendly countries and, I will say carefully, some other markets," he said. “Because the products are in demand and will be in great demand in the future. If we turn to the previous statistics and the list of major consumers of potash fertilizers in the world we see that they remain unchanged."
Andrei Rybakov explained that after the sanctions were imposed, the company had to rebuild logistics. By now, this process is almost complete. Circumstances forced to abandon "mono-logistics" deliveries and switch to the use of various ways and methods of delivery. "We have worked them out over the past two years and polished them in terms of effectiveness," he noted. “I will not go into specifics, but we mainly use the ports of St. Petersburg, the northwestern regions of Russia, railway and other means of transport. We continue to build up our logistics capabilities."
