MOSCOW, 10 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik has held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Russian Federation Thit Linn Ohn, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy.
The parties discussed interaction between Belarus and Myanmar in the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian areas. The parties touched upon the organization of visits and meetings at various levels. The diplomats also talked over the development of the legal framework.
“Thit Linn Ohn emphasized the importance of developing relations with Belarus and pointed out that Myanmar is interested in cooperation with our country in the production of tractors, medicine, supplies of Belarusian dairy products. The ambassador of Myanmar also named sports, culture and education as promising areas of cooperation with Belarus,” the press service said.
