MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov of Kazakhstan visited the Hi-Tech Park (HTP) in Minsk on 14 November, BelTA has learned.
“Recognized internationally, the Hi-Tech Park is a matter of pride for our country. It hosts a lot of high-ranking foreign delegations,” Kirill Zalessky, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the HTP Supervisory Board, said welcoming the distinguished guests. "All in all, the park has more than 1,000 companies that work in a variety of infrastructure areas: from fintech to industrial technologies, from medicine to virtual reality technologies," he said.

The delegation of Kazakhstan was shown the capabilities of four HTP residents. Each of them specialize in a unique field: training using virtual reality, financial technologies, technologies for medicine and environment.
The prime ministers were accompanied by Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov, Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Nazaruk.
Kazakhstan is ready to cooperate with Belarus in all areas, including in the field of high technology and IT, Olzhas Bektenov said during the talks with the head of the Belarusian government in an expanded format. "The government of Kazakhstan is committed to strengthening and deepening the relations with Belarus," he added.

The parties signed a number of documents on cooperation, including a program of action on trade and economic cooperation for 2025-2029.
