
MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – The banking sector of Belarus is operating steadily, the share of problem assets is about 3%, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank Roman Golovchenko said at the meeting hosted by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.
“The banking sector is demonstrating stable performance. Notably, despite significant turbulence, the share of problem assets remains low at approximately 3% – well below the 10% threshold considered safe,” the head of the National Bank said.
