
MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) - The EAEU countries are preparing a comprehensive plan to facilitate trade and economic cooperation with Africa until 2027, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk on 30 September, BelTA has learned.
"In our view, a constructive partnership with the African continent has a immense potential. In this context, it is necessary to expedite the finalization and approval of the comprehensive plan for promoting trade and economic cooperation between the EAEU and Africa until 2027,” Aleksandr Turchin noted.

According to him, Belarus sees significant prospects in the international cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union. “In June of this year, trade agreements were signed with Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates, with one with Indonesia in the pipeline. Following the Eurasian Economic Forum, Venezuela, Myanmar, and Nicaragua expressed their desire to acquire an observer status with the EAEU,” the Belarusian prime minister said.
