MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian tire maker Belshina is aimed at increasing production and sales of tires in 2025. The company sold more than 4.2 million tires in 2024, Deputy Director General for Commercial Issues Vladimir Kosinsky told BelTA.
“We sell most of our products for export, mainly to Russia and other CIS countries. Amid the conditions of complicated geopolitical relations, we have stopped supplies to unfriendly EU countries. The work with constructively-minded countries of the far arc produced positive results in 2024,” the deputy director general said.
In 2025 the Bobruisk-based enterprise plans to increase production and sales of tires. For example, over 4.2 million tires were sold last year. Vladimir Kosinsky added that an important factor for Belshina’s performance was the development of innovative products. In 2024 the share of innovative products at the enterprise stood at the level of 15.9%, and this indicator continues to demonstrate annual growth. The priority area of export development for Belshina is diversification of sales markets and expansion of its presence in Asia and Africa.
As for cooperation projects, Belshina is among the tire suppliers to almost all Belarusian manufacturers of motor vehicles, road-building and agricultural machinery. “We are in the process of constant cooperation. We develop tires with the required characteristics for our manufacturers according to individual orders. In particular, together with MAZ we plan to develop new tires for MAZ-6440RR sports cars of the MAZ-SPORTauto team,” the deputy director general said.
Belshina is one of the largest tire manufacturers. The company produces a wide range of tires with more than 300 models: tires for cars, trucks, heavy haulers, construction, road and lifting and transport machines, electric vehicles, buses, tractors and agricultural machinery.
