
MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) - The Belarusian tractor maker MTZ is interested in expanding cooperation with the Republic of Ghana, Deputy Marketing Director at MTZ Vladimir Petukhov, who is on a working visit to the African country as part of a delegation of Belarusian machine-building enterprises, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.
During the negotiations with the Ghanaian minister of agriculture, the parties agreed to develop a program of mechanization of the agricultural sector.
Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) is one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery. Over its almost 80-year history, the plant has produced about 4.1 million tractors. Today the machinery is produced under the BELARUS brand.
